We have been fortunate to visit Australia many times, and Sydney has to be one of the most wonderful cities in the world. We love our time here, and taking the kids to some of our favourite spots like fish and chips at Watsons Bay, the amazing zoo, not to mention the countless beaches. However, my favourite thing on a Sunday morning is having toast and jam / marmalade in bed with my two granddaughters. A family tradition since they were teeny when Grandpa would cut the toa…st in to smallish pieces – however the girls are bigger now and so are the portions! We sit and blether, getting through several rounds of toast, digesting their week that was, and planning the week ahead.

For us GlobalGrandparents, it’s simple magical moments like this that we treasure when we’re together and miss so much when we’re apart. That said, our Sunday toast mornings have also been spent looking through all the family albums and photographs we now have and share on GlobalGrandparents; and this morning we have created our new ‘Australia 2017’ album and putting lots of lovely memories in there.

Now, where’s Grandpa with the next cup of tea?!….
